Dead VIKINGS lie around. Enter VALKYRIES (divine female warriors from Norse mythology). They raise the VIKINGS and lead them off.
Enter ODIN (the chief Norse god).

Enter Saxon KNIGHTS, led by SIR HECTOR and his right hand man, SIR OSBERT. HECTOR spots MARY.

FEAR NOT, FAIR LADY, WE'VE COME TO RESCUE THEE.

SVEN awakes to see that MARY has him at swordpoint.

The village has been sacked by the Vikings. Dead bodies lie around. Enter SVEN and MARY. MARY, with hands tied, trips. SVEN approaches her with sword drawn. To MARY's surprise, SVEN cuts her free.

I'M NOT LOST. THIS MUST BE NORWAY. I CAN SMELL IT IN THE AIR.

THE SCENT OF BURNING VILLAGES?
SVEN picks up a Viking shield.
